Who are we?

Dee

Short version- Hi! I am Dee, I am the founder and clinical director of The Nest Physiotherapy.

Longer version- I absolutely love my job as a children’s physiotherapist because I get to support children in achieving their goals and unlocking their potential. There's nothing more rewarding than being part of that journey.

The Nest Physiotherapy is dedicated to providing a safe, warm, and supportive environment where your children can grow, heal, and thrive. Just like a nest that cradles its young, I am committed to nurturing each child’s physical development through personalised physiotherapy services.

By working closely with children, parents and caregivers I focus on integrating personalised, fun, and effective therapy plans into everyday play. My goal is to challenge the “it’ll do” attitude and to see children flourish as a result. I’m here to guide families every step of the way and ensure that they feel equipped and empowered to succeed. From the first steps to more advanced milestones.

Whether it's recovering from an injury or managing a long-term condition, I am committed to supporting your family’s journey to a better quality of life.

April

At The Nest Physiotherapy, we understand that reaching out for support can feel like a big step. April is often your very first point of contact, and is here to ensure that the process feels simple, welcoming and supportive from the very beginning.

With a calm and organised approach, she helps families with enquiries, appointment bookings and general questions about our services. She works closely behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, so that sessions are focused entirely on your child and your family’s needs.

April has years of experience as an occupational therapy technician and understands that every family’s journey is unique. Whether you are making an initial enquiry, arranging follow up appointments, or simply need reassurance about next steps, you will be met with kindness, clarity and efficiency.

At The Nest, we believe that support does not begin in the therapy session. It begins with the very first conversation.
